We are still at least a year off from launching our Grade A creamery. In fact, we don't even have the structure we are hoping to house it in yet! Nevertheless, we know a good deal when we see it, and we found a great deal on a bulk chilling tank that will someday be the first stop after the milking parlor for our milk. It came from a very cool creamery in NH called the Temple-Wilton Community Farm. Check them out: http://www.twcfarm.com/
They grew out of this well loved and carefully used tank and sold it to us from a continent away. Andrew was extremely kind to us throughout the process despite the fact that he was dealing with several major snowstorms (really not fun on a dairy farm). He crated it up like a pro. It made it across the country snug as a bug. Thanks, Andrew!
It's going to sit in its crate for a while, but we are really excited to fire it up and put it to good use in the not so distant future.
